Season 4 with iRacing is in the books. Trevor Mack walked away with both championships, taking the Skip barber series and our first season with the Mustangs.
We'll keep with the skip barber for Series 1 but make a switch to the Star Mazda for Series 2 for those that crave a little more speed. Should be interesting as the Mazda is getting the new tire model just before the series starts.

Season 3 with iRacing wrapped up with Ken MacKay taking the Series 1 championship ahead of Mike North. Trevor Mack captured the Series 2 championship in the final event just edging ahead of Dave North.
For the upcoming season 4 we will be changing format going to two series running 2 races on alternate weeks. Series 1 will run the Skip Barber every other week, and Series 2 will use the Mustang FR500s on the week between. We're also changing the start times to 30 minutes later in the evening with qualifying for Race 1 starting at 7:30 PM EST.

Another season wraps up with Trevor Mack taking the Series 1 championship by winning all 8 races he entered. Series 2 came down to the last race with Ken MacKay coming out just one point ahead of Dave North. We'll be continuing with the 2 series format, both running SRF and Skip Barber cars on iRacing, for the new season starting Aug 2.

Our first season using iRacing was a success and a lot of fun. There were 6 different winners in 11 events, some of them newcomers to the league and some drivers that have rejoined the league. Congratulations to Ken MacKay on taking the overall championship, with Bryan Brown taking the MX5 class championship. Plans are underway to do a second season with iRacing using a mixed class of the SRF and Skip Barber cars starting May 3 2011.

The Season 21 championship goes to David North. The PCC 07 cars were a lot of fun, especially at the end of the races when the tires went off. Bryan Brown topped the the non-podium finsihers, taking home the Zanardi cup and managing a 6th place overall. We'll be giving iRacing a test in the new year to see how well it fits.

The Season 20 championship goes to Trevor Mack. Even the Vintage FV cars weren't enough to slow Trevor down. Bookie Westbrook was by far the best of the non-podium finsihers, taking home the Zanardi cup and managing a 5th place overall. We'll be taking a break for the Summer but look for us in the Fall.
June 1 2009
Season 18 starts on June 4! For the summer we will be running a mix of rFactor and GTR2 mods. In addition we will also be running a special stage (non-points) event with a new rFactor mod at Lemans. For the summer we will be keeping it simple so we'll be dropping the Success Ballast handicapping system.

Another season in the the books and
two more champions. Trevor Mack once again proved he was the guy to
beat in the rFactor Spec Racer divsion, even when carrying a hefty
amount of ballast. Dave North and Pat McDermott gave him something to
think about all season. The Zanardi Cup went to our very own Bryan
Brown for being the best of the non-podium finishers.
The GPL
FV championship goes to Ken MacKay. Even though he lead most of the
season it still came down to the final race with Ron Ronchetto and
Trevor Mack keeping him honest. As a consolation prize Ron picked up
the Delaney Cup for best of the "old timers". However this
season will best be known for when Bryan "2B" Brown finally
made it to the top step of the podium.
Sept 22 2007
We will be starting Season 17 on
October 4. In addition to GPL FV and rFactor fBMW divisions we will
also be running a few special stage (non-points) events with GTR2 and
some of the newer rFactor mods. After experimenting with weight
penalties over the summer we are using a new Success Ballast
handicapping system for the fBMW division that should provide close
racing while allowing the better drivers to succceed in the
championship.
Feel free to run either or both series...

The summer Tin Top series is now complete. Congrats to Trevor Mack who has done it again!! in grand style. Imagine having to throw away two second place finishes as your two worst results... yikes... Andre Talciero scored an excellent second place overall with a series of strong podium finishes, and Darius Bilimoria took the third overall spot

The final two FBMW races for Summer 2007 are in the books. With nine wins in 15 races, the title clearly belongs to Trevor Mack. Well done Trevor ... and all this was done carrying a fair amount of weight in almost every race. Pat McDermott clinched the Newman Cup for old timers and Ralph Kemmerer won the Zanardi Cup for those of us without a leg to stand on (ie no podiums). It was a great season of racing.... the FBMW cars are excellent and our mass penalties made each race different and a good test for the top drivers. I must say that I am impressed with the rFactor tracks we drove on.... great graphics and challenging circuits.
