Race Format

General

Races are held every Tuesday night during the season, with the exception of holidays. Often, non-points races are scheduled on holiday dates for those who would like to race, check the Complete Schedule for a list of all events.

Official qualifying begins at 7:15 p.m. E.S.T. (Eastern Standard Time) and runs from 20 minutes only.

The aim of The Regulars race night is to be completely finished racing by 8:30 pm E.S.T.

Drivers are encouraged to join the server for the practice session prior to qualifying to ensure there are no issues with the the server, share setups, and general chat. For rFactor, we will be using the Chat facility in the game.

The Official rFactor Session on race nights starts at 6:00 p.m. E.S.T. with 75 minute open practise. At 7:15 PM EST, we begin a 20 minute qualifying session for Race 1, followed immediately by a 20 minute long Race 1 (with no Warmup session). Following Race 1, we have a 10 minute qualifying session for Race 2, followed immediately by a 20 minute long Race 2 (again, no Warmup Session).

You can join the race server any time from 6:00 p.m. E.S.T. to 7:15 p.m. E.S.T.

Times from the 75 minute practise session are inconsequential.

Formal qualifying for Race 1 is scheduled to begin at 7:15 pm. E.S.T.

Damage will be set to 30% and the use of AutoClutch is allowed for all drivers. A list of driver aids allowed is given in the rFactor Rules section
