rFactor Division Points

The championship is determined by the driver's points total at the end of the season. Depending on the length of the season and the time of year of the championship, some of each driver's worst points results may be dropped from their totals (see the Standings Table for number of races and number of race results dropped). This is to allow for vacations, family time, sickness etc. Points will be awarded as follows:

Driver's Aides Penalty Points - Use of most driving aides is prohibited. However, AntiLock Braking (ABS) and Traction Control (TC) are allowed but the drivers will suffer a point penalty for use of these aides. The penalty points will be subtracted from the driver's points winnings after each race. A driver cannot receive negative points in a race, so if this happens, his points score will be set to zero for that race. The maximum points a driver can lose in one race for using driver's aides is five (5).

Driving Aide Points Penalty
ABS Low -1
ABS High -2
TC Low -1
TC Medium -2
TC High -3
