The Dalhousie Masters Swim Club is open to adults who are interested in improving their swimming skills, getting a good workout, and socializing with fellow swimmers. The club offers six practices per week, which makes accommodating busy schedules easy! We swim at the 50 metre Dalplex pool, located in the south end of Halifax at Dalhousie University.

You MUST be a Dalplex member to join Dal Masters

Note: The registration date has been established for the 2012-2013 season. Please visit the registration page for detail.

People join Dal Masters for many reasons, including health, socializing, travel and coaching. Dal Masters offers regular, structured training sessions under the watchful eye of our swim coach. The swim practices emphasize stroke improvement, cardiovascular activity, and progressive fitness training. The benefits are remarkable stress reduction, improved muscle tone, weight control, and increased strength and endurance.

This website serves to introduce our club to you as well as acting as a source of information to club members. Feel feel to explore the Swimming Links.

Our Members

Club members represent the entire spectrum of swimmers, from novice to former Varsity swimmers. The practices are organized with respect to ability, and the workouts are tailored accordingly. This ensures that you can swim at a pace at which you are comfortable, with others of similar ability.

Various members participate in Masters swim meets held throughout the province.
